Balancing everything from deadlines and priorities — to art and commerce. We’re far from perfect at it, but we work on it every day. Another balancing act is listening to our instincts AND to our customers. Recently we had a slightly frustrated client (in restaurant business) tell us that they give the same amount of attention to a patron who orders one appetizer as they would a party of 8 ordering multiple courses and vintage wines. We thought that was a pretty good analogy to keep in mind.

We’re here to consult our clients on what’s best for them. But we also listen intently not only because they pay the bills, but because clients are the best source of inspiration for improvement.

More on balance: Over time, we have learned that our singlemost important strength is our ability to toe the line between:

FORM & FUNCTION
CREATIVITY & TECHNOLOGY

Whether it’s a creative firm or individual...rarely will you come across a happy medium. Most web outfits are either skewed towards technology or design, not both. Many creative types tend to lean the board towards FORM, leaving functionality and results to the wind. Yes, we are a creative communications firm, and we’re good at it. And at the end of the day, our clients’ commercial success is what gets us to the shore safely.
